The villages of Swanton, Banningham and Colby have joined together to form an active branch of the W.I. The branch holds regular meetings and organises events throughout the year. Several speakers will be joining us over the coming months to talk across a wide range if interesting subjects.

Swanton Abbott has a first-class bowling green located about half way down "The Street", almost next to the Post Office.
Regular meetings take place throughout the summer including a number of competition matches against other local clubs.

The local farming community has a terrific range of classic tractors and other agricultural machinery. These are regularly on display at various events around the parish including the world famous "Swanton Abbott Tractor Parade" held each year.
